Kibbutz Gonen lies northeast of the Hula Valley, in the Upper Galilee and at the foot of the Golan mountains.
To reach it, you take one of Israel’s loveliest routes – the Patrol Road, which continues from Gadot Junction. The road is lined on both sides by dense eucalyptus and fig groves that were planted in the valley to protect travelers during the years preceding the Six-Day War, when the Syrian border was only a few hundred meters away.
